A controlled nearness built from three materials chosen for structural weight, not comfort. It opens with a bright, slightly green edge — herbal and clean, without warmth. The middle holds dry and textured, anchored by papyrus accord. The base diffuses slowly, carrying the smooth, woody-velvet quality of ISO E Super without ever tipping into sweetness.

The overall effect is dry, material, and architectural. It has presence without projection. Weight without density. It is not trying to be liked.

At 18% concentration, the fragrance maintains its form across eight to ten hours. It does not fade linearly — the dry papyrus and ISO E base gain presence as the top notes settle. What you put on in the morning becomes something slightly different, and heavier, by evening.

Drydown

The Base Takes Over Slowly.

As the chamomile edge recedes, ISO E Super comes forward — smooth, woody, and indeterminate. It does not announce itself. It consolidates. The dry quality of the papyrus remains underneath, keeping the composition from tipping warm. What is left is architectural: spare, certain, and dark.

Application

Two To Three Drops. No More.

Apply to pulse points — wrists, neck, the inner elbow. Or apply as a skin veil across the chest before dressing. The oil format means it carries differently than a spray: slower release, longer arc, more intimate radius. Start with two drops. Adjust from there.

The name comes from the material. Papyrus is one of the oldest surfaces for human thought — dry, durable, and built to hold weight. We did not choose it for the reference. We chose it because structurally, nothing else holds the same tension against chamomile.

The formula was built around a single constraint: bright and dark materials meeting directly, with no traditional heart note placed between them to soften the contrast. Most compositions use a middle accord as a negotiator. We removed it. What remains is the tension itself — held in place by ISO E Super's diffusive base, present but not resolved.

This is the first edition. 48 vessels. Numbered. Sealed. There is no plan for wide distribution. If the work holds, there will be a second expression. Nothing more is decided.
